Talking to My Family!!

Hi family!!!!!

Man, it was sooo good to talk to all of you yesterday. Mom, you’re right, it definitely wasn’t long enough. But I loved every minute of it. Happy Mother’s day :) You guys are all just the same :) Also, Happy Birthday Luke!!! 18! Crazy crazy. Hope that it’s a fantastic day!!

Talking to my FAMILY!!
Pumped about talking to our families!  (Really, it was the BEESSTT!!)
Thanks to her and her computer, I got to Skype you guys!

Today for our district activity we went to downtown Quito to go bowling and eat McDonalds :) So I have like no time to write. I guess it ended up being a good week...where I just got to talk to you guys. So sorry, the letter is going to be really short and I’ll try and add a few pics.

Bowling!  I did Hermana Silva's hair :)
And kind of forgot to do mine!
Great P-day!

This week was super good! On Saturday we had the baptism of one of my favorite investigators. She’s been going to church for awhile but has never wanted to accept a baptismal date. These last few weeks we’ve worked a lot with her and she finally got baptized and confirmed. She has one of the strongest testimonies that I have ever seen in a convert and cried through her whole testimony because she said it was one of the best days of her life.

I also got to do a division this week and go back to Cumbaya, my first sector! It was so fun to stay in my old house and see a few of the members and investigators :)

One of my favorite scriptures from this week... 1 Nephi 18:16 "Nevertheless, I did look unto my God and I did praise him all the day long; I did not murmur against the Lord because of mine afflictions."   If we could all just be like Nephi. I love that my mission president’s wife always focuses on praising the Lord. If we are sad, if we are lonely, tired, disappointed, frustrated... looking upward and giving thanks to the Lord will ALWAYS help us feel better, more loved. More grateful.

Love you all!!!! Have a fantastic week!!!!!
